An amenity (or "asset") is a physical resource secured by a smart lock. It can be anything from a meeting room, to a delivery box, to an elevator, to sports equipment. See Managing Locks for information on how smart locks are paired to amenities.

When editing an amenity, Basic Info tab has the following options.
📄️ Ingress: Creating and Managing Access for Users
WiseIngress platform provides different ways for users to gain access to an amenity. One of these ways is Ingress tab of each amenity which allows the administrator to create on-demand (or ad hoc) access for existing and new users.
📄️ Policies & Booking Settings
Booking settings and other policies for an amenity can be configured for each User Group separately, if needed. If all users of the system have the same set of rules and policies, then the configuration has to be done just once.
📄️ Schedule
WiseIngress supports two types of amenities from reservation point of view: schedule-based and without schedule.
📄️ Users Visibility
This tab allows the administrator to set visibility of the amentity to different users. For example, even though two users are added to the same Location which has three amenities, one of them won't be able to see and access one certain amenity when they log in to the web or mobile application.
📄️ Smart Lock Info
General information and some essential features regarding the smart lock paired to the amenity are accessible on this tab. If no lock has been paired to the current amenity, the system will display a message to indicate that.
📄️ Public Access
Giving physical access to people from outside the platform is a popular business scenario for secured assets like sports equipment rentals. In this case, users do not have to be added or invited to the system beforehand. There are two scenarios for such business cases, both of which are supported by WiseIngress:
